Aurora alert: Possible geomagnetic storm
Northern lights could be visible over some northern and upper Midwest states. Heightened solar activity has prompted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center to issue a geomagnetic storm watch for July 24.
